1. Impact on others must be considered.  Newman said it well, “No man is an island entire of himself”, you are part of the human race.
   
2. American and international law govern what you do online.  If you download illegal, or copyrighted content, you can be sued in court, others have been.
   
3. “But I didn’t know”. That’s the oldest excuse in the book, and it doesn’t work.
   
4. You signed the “Acceptable Use Policy”. You should go back and read what you signed, you can lose it as school since it is a privilege.
   
5. Viruses, worms and bots,  can damage your devices or be passed on.  
   
6. Private information is valuable, guard it carefully and never give out your username or password to anyone!
