Scratch Projects
Build from Scratch
First create an account on the Scratch website. Go to http://scratch.mit.edu/ to create the account and begin.
Complete the list of projects in order. Extra instructions can be downloaded by clicking here. Project #1 Add a sprite that moves with a background. Project #2 About Me - create a Scratch project with a sprite and at least three other objects that represent you. When each one is click it will explain it's connection to you. Project #3 Make a band or dance party - create a background with at least 4 sprites. When each sprite is clicked it will play a sound and dance or move. Project #4 Performance Script - create conversation on screen with at least two sprites. Each sprite must move and talk when it is clicked but the sprites may not talk over one another. Project #5 Create a story - create a story with at least 4 different scenes. Each scene will have a button to go on to the next scene or go back. When each sprite is clicked it will move and speak and tell the story. |
