Sunday, my students and I boarded a plane from Los Angeles and flew to Phoenix, Arizona. We changed planes and flew about 1,700 miles to place where there is a beach. The students will be studying marine plants and animals, they will be conducting experiments, and will be learning to snorkel. You job today is to use Google maps and other resources to name the possible locations where I may be. Please post a list of your educated guesses with reasons for each place on the list.

I looked at a map and I think he might be in Mexico( though highly unlikely, but never leave a possibility out, right?) or he might have went to Texas.

My guess is somewhere over the rainbow. Over the rainbow, there is a magical land where there are many magical marine animals such as mermaids and seaponies(ponies, not horses. There's a difference). The students will conduct experiments about the water and how it makes all things immortal. They will also learn to snorkel to observe these creatures and to escape from the legendary man-eating seaserpent Singuaja if they ever come across it.

I think that Mr.Aiken is either in Beaumont, Louisiana or Houston, Texas. on google maps, it gave us a scale of the map that helped us measure how far he went. Both Houston and Beaumont have coasts.

Alabama is a possible location. Louisiana is also a possible location. The final possible location is Florida. They all fit because they all have beaches and they fit the measurement distance description.

I think Mr.Aitken is in Houston,Texas because if you measure 1,700 miles it is in Texas. Also,I think he is in Gulfport,Louisiana because it is on the coast and it is about 1,700 miles.Lastly,I think he is in Florida because Florida has a lot of beaches and it's on the coast.Plus, its about 1,700 miles.

I think you could be in Miami, Florida, Darien, Georgia, and Seattle, Washington because all of those cities have a wildlife reserve around the area. Also I posted a comment on school goals so if you want to notify me about that please use my email.

The first one is North Carolina, the second one is South Carolina, and the third one is Florida. The reason is because they are all on the coast and they are about 1,700 miles.

You either went to Myrtle Beach, the North Myrtle Beach, or Long Beach. They're all so close to each other, so you might have been to each of every one of them.
