We went snorkeling Tuesday. It was fresh water and the temperature was about 72 degrees. We were swimming with the large marine mammals. They moved slowly enough that we could easily keep up with them. We found a more with her baby in an area near houses with many boats moving slowly by. Later on Tuesday we went snorkeling in a river created by several fresh water spring. This spring produces more that 300 million gallons of water a day and sometimes as much as 400 million. Any more guesses? If you think you know what state I'm in please try to locate the city or area. And please include reasons for you guesses.

I think your in Dunnellon, Florida and went snorkeling at Rainbow River or spring with a large marine animal you swam with is called manatees because they live in the rainbow river. The manatees nickname is called the sea cow because it swim or walks slow as a cow and eats as slow as a cow.

Before the possible answer was manatee then he must of went to Lake Ochakeebee also in the picture it had him before a water area but not in a beach. Because there were trees behind him. On google maps it has trees in the specific lake WITH trees. So the most possible place is the lake I just mentioned.
